YOUR WELLNESS STARTS HERE

SOFT SKILLED LIVING WORKSHOP: Your 7 steps to Wellness.

Before you start constructing your personal wellness and healing plan take a moment to review the overview, goals and objectives of the workshop I wrote.  Like I said early, my journaling during those tough years some 20+ years ago brought me to writing a 7 lesson personal wellness plan for myself.  So remember this was written long ago and unedited. Work your way slowly through the seven lessons as doing so you will write your personal wellness plan much better.  Enjoy the peace and joy this life has to offer you.

OVERVIEW, GOALS and OBJECTIVES

Overview:  Soft Skilled Living is a 7 lesson interactive workshop that emphasizes the power of closure and healing from any serious life trauma. Soft Skilled Living examines the person that lives within you and helps to reconcile many key elements of your emotions. You will start your personal wellness through writing, reflection, humility and learning unselfish love.

Objective:  To make a commitment to heal your body, mind and soul by writing your personal wellness and healing plan

Goal:  To become a victorious survivor by understanding that emotional healing is within your grasp. This journey is guided by your understanding of the values and meaning of the rejuvenating spirit of forgiveness, the value of thankfulness, the victory of hope, the emotional battles of life trauma; relaxation, visualization and prayer, the secret of time and the spirit of volunteering.

To heal any emotions, you must start at the core of the issue; forgiveness and unselfish love. My mentor is a man of great wisdom and prudent thought. He said many times, “Love your neighbor as you would love yourself.” One problem exists with this statement. Very few of us know how to love ourselves so that we may love our neighbor as Christ’s greatest commandment requires.

“You owe yourself a good life, start living it.©”  As you read each of the seven lessons of the Soft Skilled Living Workshop, for once in your life, slow down and reflect on YOUR well being.  Start the process of “Learning to love yourself.”  Take your valuable time with each question I present to you.  As you write your thoughts and opinions, you are constructing and writing your personal growth and wellness plan.  Thus the underlying theme of your Wellness Plan:   “Learn to love yourself so you will be able to love your neighbor. “

“You owe yourself a good life, start living it.©”  That is the idea.

Open your heart and begin to write your inner most thoughts, hopes and dreams.  As the days and weeks go by and you return to read your plan, you will be shocked that you wrote a life long emotional wellness plan for yourself.  Get serious about your well being.  Everything in life you are striving for is right within your grasp.  The emotional wellness you seek is within your heart and mind right now.  Like planting a garden, you are about to sow your emotional seeds, tend the soil of your life, nourish the new tender growth of wellness and ward off the wiles of old thoughts, bad habits and the pessimism of life.

FAITH, HOPE, and LOVE

Love is the greatest
Faith the most important
But Hope is the strength of each of my days”©

THE SECRET OF TIME.©

“Take time to volunteer, Your investment of time will prosper.
Take the time to learn how to love yourself, Then you’ll know how to love your neighbor.
Take the time to teach your children that giving is more important than getting.
Spend time honoring your parents.
Spend time in prayer and meditation.
Invest time developing your talent and use your gain to give to the faith of your choice.
Ponder in quiet time to heal your emotions.
Invest your time being kind to all you meet, they may be angels in disguise
Take time to write a letter to someone you hurt.
Take time to plant a garden, tend it and watch it grow.
Take time to teach yourself wisdom; she will grant you a long, prosperous life,
And that, my friend is “THE SECRET OF TIME.”

I wrote this on my 5 year anniversary of being cancer free (1825 sunrises),
